Cry of the Taniwha Prejudice Example

Reflection

I have been identifying personalities in the book 'Cry of the Taniwha'. This piece of work is about a character named Matt. I found this work easy because I understood the book really well. My next step is to identify more traits about the character to help me understand the story better.

Popplet - Natural Disaster Brainstorm

Reflection:

I have been learning to record my research in my own words. I found summarising the information into my own words easy because my group helped me. I found this helpful for my narrative writing because I learnt a lot of facts about tsunamis. My next step is to use more interesting words to replace boring words.

Pepeha Art

This is my Pepeha art. First we drew a draft in our sketch books, then we drew it out on a  long piece of paper, then we traced it with vivid, next we coloured it in crayon. We needed to blend colours together. After we dyed the work.

Comparing - Fractions

  Reflection:

I am learning to comparing fractions. I felt that this piece of work was easy, because I understand how to do this, when my teacher taught me. I was successful with this because I understood this work. My next step is to compare harder fractions.

My Special Place Writing

Reflection:

I was learning to use my senses to add detail to my writing so that I can make my writing more interesting for my reader. I found this work easy because I've done interesting writing before. What helped me with being successful with this learning was seeing an example and also doing a plan, because I knew by seeing an example, I had yo make my writing interesting. My next step is to use this skill in my other writing.
